Kellogg's Topper should be used as a seed cover for all seed plantings, also rototill it into the soil prior to laying sod. Topper will assist in early and strong root development of sod lawns and assist in plant establishment.

Kellogg's Topper is a composted blend of humus, composted fir bark and selected wood fibers. As a seed cover it increases the moisture and temperature of the seed bed which insures faster germination of seed without crusting or burning.
