In October 1986, Hap became the Administrative Assistant. His duties included handling customer inquires and submitting bids to the city and county agencies.
Hap was promoted to Vice President of Sales in May 1987. He created and implemented a marketing plan for the sale of fertilizer and soil amendments while managing a sales force of nine people.
In 1991, Hap entered his current position as President. He oversees two divisions of Kellogg Supply; Marketing Services Division sells horticultural and food products to approximately 400 supermarkets throughout Arizona and New Mexico; the Horticultural Division, Kellogg Garden Products, sells soil amendments and fertilizer products to approximately 3000 retail outlets throughout California, Arizona, Nevada, So. Oregon and Hawaii.
Hap is currently active at LB Alliance Church and participates in various ministry organizations. He is also a member of the Executive Committee and the Green Industry Council. Hap was on the Board of Directors, Los Angeles Chapter, California Association of Nurserymen from 1986 through 1990. He was also a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy's Association from 1981 to 1992 and a member of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association from 1980 to 1984.
Hap is married to the former Kathy Fisher of Albia, Iowa. They have two children, Cody and Chelsea.
Hap enjoys spending time with the family, coaching roller hockey, motorcycle riding and many outdoor activities. Hap experienced a life-changing event in the early 1990's.
